LM BLACK POWDER
Powder is a Gold Seal black stallion with no white markings. He will be 10 years old in 2005. Powder stands at 14.2 .He is apparently homogeneous for black as he has had no chestnut foals ; only blacks, buckskins and dark bays.
powder's Arabian sire was a straight Babson in a preservation breeding program - a double Fa-Serr grandson.
His Morgan dam is a granddaughter of Waseeka's Skylark and Orcland Leader - two very famous stallions.Powder's foals have had very nice temperments ; big soft eye with intelligent minds; smoothly blended ; great legs and feet ; clean and sound. He has foals in many states : Alabama, North Carolina , Oklahoma , Arkansas , Tennessee,Kansas, New Jersey , Colorado. In May and July of 2005 we are exspecting our first two foals from Powder.
We purchased Black Powder from Liberty Mtn. Morabs in May of 2004 . He arrived here on May 16 of that year . We are truely grateful that we have been blessed with this stallion. A wonderful addtion to the Half Moon family.
